Interventional Radiology is a medical specialty defined by minimally invasive, image-guided, targeted treatments. Many of the treatments that interventional radiologists (IR) provide eliminate the need for invasive, surgical treatments and have much shorter recovery time which gets you back to what you love faster. if you have fibroids, an enlarged prostate gland, liver cancer, arterial blockages, an arthritic joint, varicose veins, blood clots, or other common ailments, you should seek out treatment with an IR and avoid the longer recovery associated with traditional surgical therapies. #IRad @rkryu
